PKAC Spring / Summer Season 2026
Local Events
PKAC members will be involved in several local events during August. Support fellow members by dropping by for a chat and to encourage their work and community involvement!
- Rib Fest – August 14-16, 2026, 11: a.m. – 9:00 p.m. – McLeod Athletic Park, Langley, BC. Visit Loraine at her used books sales table. Sale proceeds benefit Rotary projects.
- Arts Alive – August 15, 2026 – 10:a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Fraser Highway One Way (between 204th and 206th Streets).
- Art in the Vines – August 23, 2026, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Township 7 Winery, 21152 16 Ave., Langley Township BC
Art Drop-in Sessions
Sandra C. reminds us that the Art Drop-in sessions for PKAC members will continue all summer! If you are itching to paint and enjoy conversation and support, join us.
Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 12:30
9566 – 190th St. in Port Kells. We’re at St. Oswald’s church hall.
Bring your supplies and a drop-cloth.
Cost is $5 a session and coffee and tea are always on.

Classes, General Club, & Mentoring Feedback Meetings
Classes
Classes are held at the Eric Bysouth Rotary Field House (location and directions above). They run on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The following instructors are booked for September to December 2025:

In July and August Port Kells Art Club takes a break from classes, general club meetings, and mentoring feedback sessions.
Mentoring sessions will return in the fall with the first one scheduled for September 25, 2026
General Club Meetings
PKAC Fall 2026 Meeting Dates:
Meetings are regularly scheduled for the third Monday of the month, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Eric Bysouth Rotary Fieldhouse (map above). If the third Monday happens to be a statutory holiday, the meeting will take place on the following Monday.
